The museum of contemporary art De Pont in Tilburg The Netherlands, again exhibits one of its long-term loans from Han Nefkens H+F Collection: Macro World: One Hour 3 and Canned
by Angela Bulloch. This impressive work is made of light boxes.
Angela Bulloch's light boxes, made either of wood or plastic and always of the same dimensions (50 x 50 x 50 cm), contain red, green and yellow-coloured lights capable of generating 16 million colours. Using the colour permutation system elaborated by the French artist André Cadere for his famous Round Wooden Sticks
, the artist controls the luminosity of each tube with a modular system so that the boxes can be connected to one another and produce countless colour combinations.
